Cupidity

This short film is the result of my senior capstone. It’s going to be finished by April, and displayed at the Peoria Riverfront Museum. All work, with the exception of audio creation, is my work.

The film is about a lonely high school girl escaping into her dreams, trying to find herself.

This project was started in January 2024, with plot concepting and character designs. Then I moved to environment and high fidelity concepts. After those were completed, I storyboarded the film, and edited together an animatic.

Most concept art was created in Photoshop, and edited together in Adobe Premiere Pro. A cut scene was done entirely in Adobe Animate. I animated the project in Toon Boom. Backgrounds and other assets were done in Photoshop. Special effects and lighting were composited in Adobe After Effects. The whole project was assembled with audio in Adobe Premiere Pro.

The full process was documented weekly on my tumblr blog, which you can visit here!
